The 2014 Channel O African Music Awards belonged to Cassper Nyovest and Diamond Platnumz tonight. They were both the biggest winners scooping three awards each. Cassper walked away with Most Gifted Male, Most Gifted Southern and the big one, the Most Gifted Video of the year. Diamond Platnumz on the other hand walked way with the Most Gifted Newcomer, Most Gifted Afro Pop and Most Gifted East. Olamide, Kcee, Wikzid and Tiwa Savage representing Nigeria bagged one each.

Controversial musician, Terry G who we interviewed on Sunday, opened up on controversies surrounding his music career.
He spoke on issues bordering on his packaged water business, personal life, usage of marijuana and more.
In his usual off-the-cuff manner, Terry G confirmed being a drug addict.
The Akpako master did not mince words in admitting his use of hard drugs and how he got the habit.
“I was introduced to drugs by a popular actress. I am clean now but I still do marijuana, there is plenty drug problems in the industry, those that know me, know me”, he said.
The artiste, however, did not mention the actress’ name.

    Russian model Irina Shayk has been slammed for being “tasteless” on social media, after she posted this topless photo of herself in support of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign.
    Referring to the 276 schoolgirls recently kidnapped by Boko Haram, the 28-year-old covered up her bits with a handmade sign in support of the cause. Thankfully, her Insta-followers immediately branded her as being “disrespectful”.

    “Pretty tasteless and disrespectful. No class. This is exactly the justification terrorists are probably using to prevent women from receiving ‘western education,’

    With another asking her:

     ‘Would you stand there naked wishing sorrow on the 9/11 victims? Would you do it for the tsunami? This is a tasteless attitude to 200 missing girls.”
